It's time to give thanks and share a feast!
Dear Lion Parents/Guardians,
It is that time of year again!
Each year, PS 84 students, and teachers in classes throughout the grades celebrate the season of thanksgiving, through song, craft making, and lots and lots of FOOD!
On Wednesday, November 27, in keeping with our school tradition, all classrooms will partake in a community Thanksgiving Feast. Student desks will line the corridors outside of the classrooms, where the children, parents and teachers will gather to eat the many different foods brought in by parents and caregivers.
Our annual feast is a special time when our school family takes pride in sharing their cultural diversity through customs, and traditional cuisine.
Please note, you will receive a letter from your child’s teacher with a celebration schedule, including a signup sheet for food items. We hope you are able to join us!
