Early last month (July 2019), PS 84's primary grade classrooms were tested for lead-based paint and visible deterioration.  It is our understanding that one of our classes (room 112) tested positive for lead on a small area of the wall. We believe that the children of that classroom were never at risk and that the exposure was as a result of packing up the class (removing poster charts from the walls) at the end of the year....
