With all this remote learning, it is critical that everyone takes the time to just sit down and read. It's something that doesn't come easy in our modern world of internet and fast-paced stimuli.

We really need to teach our children what reading "looks" like so they can build reading stamina.

  • No registration, ID, or documentation required. 

  • All three meals a day may be picked up at the same time. 

  • No dining space is available, so meals must be eaten off premises.

They said it would be like pulling teeth, but actually when the NYU Dental Screening Program visited PS 84, it was anything but!

The dental staff was efficient, nurturing and our students were HAPPY to participate.  The team of 8 dedicated professionals helped ease the fears of student participants, and rewarded each of them with a goodies bag containing among other items, toothpaste and a toothbrush.  The program, not intended...
