PS 84 After-School Program
How our children spend their time after school is an important part of their day. It is an opportunity for them to explore new interests, develop teamwork skills, build relationships, socialize with peers and, most importantly, have fun! PS 84 students have a variety of different offerings through two vendors:
RE-Create Arts and Athletics (http://artsandathletics.org )
Re-Create Arts & Athletics oversees afterschool programming at PS 84. Students can look forward to high-quality enrichment classes as well as homework help every day in two sessions. You can register for as many or as few classes as you like, for either or both sessions. Classes are taught by certified teachers and subject area specialists.
Spanish Language: Re-Create tailors its classes to our vibrant multicultural community and offers some courses conducted entirely in Spanish, including Spanish with Claudia through the Mi Manzana organization and dedicated Spanish homework help.
Music Instruction: Re-Create offers instrumental music lessons in piano, violin, guitar, and drums.
The latest addition to the after-school lineup is after-care for our smallest students. If you are interested in this program, please contact Neil Fitzgerald at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 917-279-7345. Re-Create will tailor this program to the needs of our families as much as possible.
